Baby Steps

We all have to start somewhere to get anywhere. With a new year right around the corner it is time to take stock of what we need to start and what we need to leave behind.

I am starting to choose to live well.Baby steps. A baby does not walk right after birth. To suceed well at walking a baby must first roll, scoot, crawl. hold on, pull up and then walk. Each and every step to walking takes effort and practice.

There are no quick ways to:

change eating habits

lose weight

start an exercise program

change attitudes and responses to others

It takes effort and lots of practice. Most importantly it takes a relationship with the Lord to keep on track. I like the article by Darlene Shatcht: The Tri-Unity of a Woman:Spirit, Body, and Soul  http://www.christianwomenonline.net/Triunity.html
This is a great first step to living well.

Let me hear of your unfailing love each morning, for I am trusting you. Show me where to walk, for I give myself to you. Psalms 143:8
