Ouick Last Minute Gifts from Your Kitchen

We love making anything with chocolate. These recipes are quick and easy for all ages.

You will need:

Decorative plates or tins to give food away in.

Wax Paper

Cookie sheet

White Chocolate Candies Quik

Chocolate Candi Quik

( milk chocolate can be used instead of Candi Quik, however they will need to be stored in a cool place)

Pretzels ( stick are best, but you can use any form)

Sprinkles of any kind

finely crushed nuts of any kind

Crushed candy cane or other favorite hard candies

Line your cookie sheet with wax paper.

For Chocolate Covered Pretzels

Melt chocolate according to directions. Do not overheat the chocolate. Thicker is better!

Dip pretzels in chocolate. We do both white and dark. When using pretzel sticks put the chocolate in a glass. This makes it so much easier to cover the pretzel in one quick dip!

Sprinkle with sprinkles, nuts, and crushed candies

Set on cookie sheet.

Set in fridge for about 20 minutes.

Can be stored at room temp in an air tight container or bag.

For  Ritz Peanut Butter Chocolate Cookies:

You will need all of the above plus Ritz style crackers and peanut butter.

Put peanut butter on one cracker. Add another cracker on top to make a sandwich. Dip in chocolate. Add sprinkles, nuts and crushed candies.  Follow steps from above.

For Peanut Crunch Balls

1 1/2  Cups Rice Krispy style cereal

1 1/2 cup Graham Cracker Crumbs

1/2 cup confectioners sugar

1 1/2 cups peanut butter

Candy Quik

Combine all ingredients except the Candy Quik. Form small walnut size balls and dip in Candy Quik. Can be rolled in sprinkels, nuts, crushed candies. Place on wax paper. Refridgerate for 1/2 hour. Store in airtight container
