Thankful Thursday on Friday

 

 

We have lots to be thankful for this week.

• Our 16yo had a Pilonidal Cyst. All new to us! We were very blessed and thankful to only be charged less than 1/4 of the office visit fee. ( we don't have insurance). Then we were again blessed by caring folks who directed us in a way to have the surgery he needed so that we by passed the very expensive office visit to the surgeon. He saw the same surgeon at the hospital. The social workers at the hospital were also very helpful and are pretty sure they can get us on FAMIS even though our city social worked denied us.  ( sparing all the details here)


• We are thankful he came through the surgery fine with less damage than expected. ( not as deep)
