This weeks study made me chuckle! I remember being timid about using the phone as a young teen, then once I got over it you could not keep me off the phone. My oldest hated using the phone. He has a girl friend now and has no problem spending hours on the phone. My youngest has just reached the " I don't want to use the phone" stage....I know it will change.
You see we need to have a reason to use the phone: a relationship, a desire to connect. That first step can seem almost painful but the release that happens as the Father takes your hand and guides you step after step is amazing. He is just waiting for you to connect. ( even if it is again and again) He desires to have a relationship with you. He longs to spend time with His child.
I liked this weeks lesson too. Around our house it could have been IM or email instead of phoning! But it is important to want to talk to God just like we want to talk to our friends. BTW, I have tagged you. Stop by my blog and see if you want to participate.

To link you type out the entire link like: http://www.homeschoolblogger.com/hip2schoolathome Then you left click and highlight the link. When you do this the two blue globes on the top will light up. Click the first one which says "insert/edit link." The link should show up in "link name." Cut the link and paste it into "URL" (right below link name.) Then, in link name type whatever you want it to say, like " Pam." Click "add link" and it will add it into your post.
