Join us on a quest to discover what is in the air.

Day One

What is Air?

  • Study the composition of Air. Make a pie graph showing what air is made of.  ( Science & Math)

Day Two

Layers of the Atmosphere

  • Make a model of the layers of the Atmosphere. ( Science)

On the model label each layer: miles from earth, temperature, what happens in that layer.

Day Three

Air Pollution

  • Review Layers of the Atmosphere. ( Comprehension)
  • Discover what air pollution is. ( Reading)

  • Do Vocabulary Puzzle. ( spelling and vocabulary)
  • Read: The Elements of Oxygen by John Farndone  Benchmark Books 1999  ( Reading)

  • Finish Index Card Experiment (science)
