I thought it would be good to share some of the tools I use to help in my weight loss journey.

Because I cannot exercise to burn calories I must pay attention to how many calories I consume. It is becoming a habit to check calories before I eat. I keep a journal.

Overall it has been a great week changing my lifestyle. I am learning how to curb my cravings with more healthy choices and food that has higher calorie density. We had a dinner party and I was able to still stay with in my calorie range. I even enjoyed a dessert. I was able to do this by only eating 1/2 portion and eating lightly at dinner.
I am beginning to see wonderful results from my lifestyle change. I have much more energy, am feeling less pain, ( from fibro) and almost no itching. I am averaging about 2lbs a week. But its more than loosing the weight that counts. I feel better!
