This is short and sweet! Tell others what you collect! I needed wide mouth mason jars and cookie tins for homemade christmas gifts. I put the word out last month to all my friends. I got an overwhelming response! Several folks were so happy to find homes for their jar stashes. They saved them because they just could not throw them away!
I do not have any photos because our computers are not talking to each other at the moment and all the photos are on hubbys computer.
I did that same thing! I sent an email through our local hs group, asking if anyone had baby food jars I could have. One lady brought me a whole bag of them. We used them at the gifts in a jar class last week for the candy cane bath salts. (Recipe is on my blog.)
ReplyDeleteI also put the word out to my neighbor and my mom that I needed empty jars, and stated what sizes. I was able to collect several for those who might not bring jars with them to the class.
I'm already thinking ahead to next year, and what size jars I will need if we can do another gifts in a jar class. :-)
