Photobucket I got behind in reading this week. I can see that I need to rise earlier before the day gets so busy. With the lengthening of the days there is more and more to do.

Mar 15: Deut 11-13

I can appreciate the repeating of the happenings…with no books or written account one had to be reminded and the story told over and over through the generations. We are blessed to have the written word but I am not sure we recount the stories often enough.

Therefore shall ye lay up these my words in your heart and in your soul; and ye shall bind them for a sign upon your hand, and they shall be for frontlets between your eyes.

 19 And ye shall teach them your children, talking of them, when thou sittest in thy house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.

 20 And thou shalt write them upon the door-posts of thy house, and upon thy gates;

 21 that your days may be multiplied, and the days of your children, in the land which Jehovah sware unto your fathers to give them, as the days of the heavens above the earth.

  1. I tell you what! Things ARE busy. I'm so glad I have the Bible challenge to keep me reading during the week. :-)

    And oh dear! It's spring and my blog is still snowing!

    Yikes!

Let me hear of your unfailing love each morning, for I am trusting you. Show me where to walk, for I give myself to you. Psalms 143:8
