Treasures of the Season

Family is treasure!

Small touches everywhere to remind us of the importance of this season.

Favorite collections. My daughter collects nutcrackers. You can learn a bit about the history here: http://www.nutcrackermuseum.com/history.htm

The Meaning of the Snowflake ( from Dayspring)
Every new snowflake comes to the earth as a picture of our Saviour’s birth because they are sent from up above and remind us of God’s care and love.
Each one is so intricate and small because Christ sees the details of us all, and just as two are never the same the Lord knows and calls us each by name.
Snowflakes gently cover the world in white and hide what’s unlovely from our sight, showing us how He covers our sin and gives us His grace when we come to Him.
So may every snowflake bring Christ to mind and in every bit of white may you find a reason to celebrate a new and a reminder of His love for you.

And this year a small tree. We just did not have room for the big one.

  2. Lovely family, Tina-Girl! My boys like playing Risk, too :-) Glad you are enjoying some wintry-snow, it's so pretty! We're in the deep freeze here...well, not too deep, but in the teens with zero to below-zero wind chill. It'll get worse, this is just a little taste!

    {{{HUGS}}} and blessings, dearest!
    Love,

PS: I really love your bloggy-decor! You and Shani both used pink accents...it's sooooo pretty!

Let me hear of your unfailing love each morning, for I am trusting you. Show me where to walk, for I give myself to you. Psalms 143:8
