Milestones

Spent the weekend with all of our kids in lovely Blacksburg/ Radford Virginia. Our oldest son graduated from Radford with two degrees. We are very proud of him! He started a new job and he will be a daddy soon.
This was our view at the commencement exercises for the whole school. 15,000 chairs set up outside. It drizzled steadily through the whole program.

Staying dry while waiting for the program to begin.

At the individual school commencement exercises. It was still raining but almost clear.

Here is a group shot of the kids.

I will be writing more about our adventures.

  5. Congratulations! Wow, wow, wow...that's a whole lot of excitement going on in your family! I love the part of getting older that sees the kids growing up and making their way in this life...there is a poignancy in this stage that I had never realized existed...until now. I know I'm only at the beginning of it...can't imaging the thrill of grandbabies! Lord, please let me live to know it...

Many blessings, and prayers for a safe delivery of the baby!

    Love and {{{HUGS}}},

  6. Thank you SO much for your wonderful comment on my blog! What an encouragement that was! I think as of now we have decided to keep going with homeschooling. Thanks for the idea of the road map. That will be great for me to remember. I'm going to have to think about who I could have as a mentor, but that's a great idea as well. I really appreciate your comments!

    Love, Kathryn
