Our youngest daughter takes art classes. This is her most recent creation.. It is a Victorian Steam Punk style mask. She made her own base for the mask out of discarded wood and one of her antique cameras. The eye is also from her camera. ( it was a brownie that was in bad shape ) The hat pin buttons and newspaper are antique. The newspaper is from the 1940's and belonged to her grandmother. The feathers are real turkey feathers ( fresh from a friend who hunts). The eyebrow is glass from our growing "found" glass collection.
What an interesting art project! I just love Steampunk.
