Create in Me a Clean Heart Week One

Join Amy at http://www.homeschoolblogger.com/DandelionSeeds/ for online reflections and a copy of Create in Me a Clean Heart Devotion.

I really take heart in todays topic. TRUST.  I am going to pay attention all week to putting all my trust, all of me , everything in Him. I know I often feel I trust in the Lord with all my heart. however I worry, try to figure things out and so on. I want to be so trusting on the Lord like breathing....we don't pay attention to each breath in and out, we just do it.

Our church is doing a living free series this month. Todays Living Free really went with The trust in the Lord theme of Amys devotion.

Scripture:  "The heavens are Yours, and Yours also the earth; You founded the world and all that is in it."                               Psalms 89:11

Imprint:   God is the Master Builder

God can be trusted. He built the world and everything in it.  He is the Chief Engineer and understands how it all works. In God there are no surprises, no mistakes, no mishaps and no faulty designs.

Why not allow God to build into you a life-giving plan that honors Him?  He has a plan that will cause you to live in abundance.  All He requires is that you throw your every concern on Him, because He cares so much for you (1 Peter 5:7).

Prayer:

Heavenly Father,

I trust you today, with the big and the small things in my life.  Since You are the Master Builder I place my confidence in You.  I will no longer strive to achieve notoriety or pleasures for myself. From now on my life will be about You and Your ways. In Jesus name, Amen.

  1. Thank you for sharing. I'm doing this study also and thought I would stop by and learn and pray for others.

  2. This also hits me right now, and for always. It is so much easier to trust in ourselves or other people in our lives, probably because they are visible. It is amazing how much better I feel about a situation when I give it completely to Him. I have to keep reminding myself that God has the entire puzzle worked out and knows where each piece fits, whereas I only have a few small pieces in one small section. Trust in the One with the master plans. He will never steer you wrong.

Let me hear of your unfailing love each morning, for I am trusting you. Show me where to walk, for I give myself to you. Psalms 143:8
