Homemade

I know of families who make everything from scratch. I always admire them! We are now starting down that road. We no longer buy buscuit mix or pizza dough or storebought pizza. We made our first loaf of homemade bread yesterday and it was a winner! I use to make bread years ago. You just cannot beat the fresh taste, aroma, texture of homemade bread. I am sure we won't miss the chemicals added to preserve bread. Box Mac and Cheese left our pantry a while back although I am still looking for a melt in your mouth creamy homebaked recipe. Not too grown up in flavors.I was going to post a photo of our loaf of bread...it did not last long enough! Maybe next time.
