Dates for inventions are often controversial because inventions are often invented by several inventors around the same time, or may be invented in an impractical form many years before another inventor improves the invention into a practical form. I have tried to put the first date the invention was put into use here.
Assignment:
Using an index card:
Put date of invention in upper right hand corner
Put name of inventor in upper left hand corner
Put name of invention in the middle of the first line
Write a brief description of the invention and how it is used. If possible put a picture of the invention on the back of your card.
