Most of you are not use to finding me here! http://www.homeschoolblogger.com/solidrock/ I wanted to do a vacation from the past and needed to be able to load photos more easily. I have four blogs on Blogger...they are for our school activities mostly.
I hope you enjoy this post. Two years ago we went to California. Sort of a pilgrimage back home. This is one of our stops. Scotty's Castle in Death Valley California. I absolutely love this place. My middle daughter is into architecture and was so taken by all the details and beauty. All photos taken by my kids. ( have to give them the credit! They did a great job )

What a spectacular place!! I will certainly put it on our "to visit" list should we ever decide to vacation in California!! Great job on the pictures. My Show & Tell features pictures taken by my kids today too. 8~)

Hey, Solid Rock! Our 14 acres is up on Mt. Hull, above Tonasket! Part of the old Okanogan River Ranches.
ReplyDeleteSmall world. Did you grow up there, on your folks' farm? Where is their farm? We've been all over the back country up there. Please tell me they're not the Fanchers! (We fish in Fancher's Dam Lake). The lake water goes down and down as they use it to irrigate their place in the valley.
Are your folks saved? If so, what church do they go to? My DH tried the Free Methodist Church last Sunday and said it was good--AWANA, small groups, etc.
Answer back at my suzyscribbles blog, OK?
answer on my suzyscribbles HSB blog, I mean. Not the blogspot one! I never go there.:-)
ReplyDeleteThis looks like a really neat place to visit!
ReplyDeleteThose are great photos - especially the spiral stairs. I haven't been to California in 18 years. Just after we were married, my husband I went on a California camping trip and visited Disney Land.
