The time will be changing again. I think on Sunday but not sure. Anyhow this is our 10th Homeschool Memoirs, so this week it’s going to be about 10 timely facts about you! Write 10 interesting, crazy, weird, fun facts about you! Include facts about you as a woman, a wife, a mommy, a homeschooler, a homekeeper, a taxi-driver, a cook, etc . I only put 10 facts because I didn’t want to overwhelm you, but you’re welcome to do more! 101 Facts about Miss Jocelyn, which you can take a look at if you should like.

1. I have 12 half siblings.


2. I did not grow up with any of my siblings but have located all but one of them.


3. I love living in the desert. We lived near Death Valley for one year. It was an amazing year!


4. I enjoy crafts of any kind. Cold weather finds us crafting for Christmas each year with our 25 days to Christmas Craft Blitz.


5. My favorite hobby is counted cross stitch. I like to make my own designs.


6. I love animals! We have five cats, one dog, a bird, and a tank full of fish.


7. I really enjoy writing my own lessons and unit studies for my kids.


8. I love finding projects where I can work one on one with my kids.


9. If I could live anywhere it would be in the Sierra Mountains in California.


10. I have been a sunday school teacher since 1978.  A homeschool mom since 1990.


11. I find gardening relaxing. I love to plant things that come back on their own year after year.  We have a thriving butterfly garden and wildflower garden. We also have a large portion of our yard consumed with birdhouse gourds this year.


12. Our family is passionate about serving the homeless, working poor, and down troden.
