Show and Tell Friday

http://www.homeschoolblogger.com/Canadagirl/

Multi tasking at its best. Baking cookies and doing our sign language at the same time. ( while waiting for the cookies to cook)

To see the actual cookies you will need to visit my dd S and T ( pokadot at http://www.homeschoolblogger.com/pokadot ).

Here is one content cat! His new favorite sleeping place.  ( or anywhere I put this blue blanket)

  1. Awww...you are so sweet. But, I think that the fuzzy yarn probably hides all my mistakes. :)

Sign language! How neat! I love to learn the signs to different songs and sign them for our church services. It's such a unique language...

    Blessings to your day!!

  3. Hey, we do sign language in homeschool, too! My daughter's friend has hearing loss so they have a great time 'talking in secret'.

Oh, and don't you just love a cat's life?

  4. Hey, that's a great idea. I hadn't thought of doing sign language while they were waiting on something else. Hmmm, may have to try that!! : }

Well, it looks like you may have to make the blue blanket the cats blanket. Mine likes paper. Go figure!!!

    (((HUGS)))) to you my friend!!

  5. You are such a AMAZING hs mom ! And your dd's are such sweet hs dd's. I love what you show us. And just wished I had a small portion what you have in your hs. I know also that you work VERY hard for it too. My SSiC you are amazing. I also LOVE your rambles.(pertaining to the pm) I am VERY blessed by them. Thank you ((HUGS)). If I was a kitty I would be there myself. [0= Please tell your dd's they hit a special place in my heart. I took 3 out of 9 levels of America Sign Language. It was the pre requisets of the Interperter program that I was SERIOUSLY working towards. I didn't carry on for certain reasons. But I sure wished I had. I LOVE American Sign Language , it is a very BEAUTIFUL language indeed. I am throughly enjoying all your getting back to what matters in Christmas posts. ((((HUGS))))

  6. Ah, multi-tasking! You are training those girls well.

I don't think my boys could do that. They do good to stay on task with ONE thing to do.

I loved seeing all your posts this week. The pics of the kids when they were younger are so sweet.

I was just thinking we need to get on the ball with making gifts this year...thanks for sharing those links.

  8. Love the photos of your girls doing sign language and baking cookies the same time. How neat! I've learned signed language over time through the years since I'm profoundly deaf (since birth), but I don't know enough to communicate with another deaf person.

I do wear hearing aids and it does help me hear some. I read lips to fully understand what's going on. You're doing a great job with your girls.

    Have a good weekend. :)
