I completely forgot about TWT this week! Opps!


Thrift Store shopping. Look often. Find out when they do their mark downs. For example one of the stores I shop at does mark downs each tuesday. Another only before major holidays and another only the first of each month. Try to wait for the mark downs. You chance the item being sold but you also may get the item for much less.


I purchased 6 gifts for one of my daughters at the thrift store this Christmas. All gifts were marked down 50 to 75 percent off the day before Christmas. I really do not like to wait to shop till the day before but I knew this particular store did this huge mark down right before Christmas. Total for the six gifts: $10.13 Expression on her face when she got some of her favorite things: priceless!

    I love thrift stores as well. You already know how the clothes look and whether the sleeves will fit you when they are washed!
