So the chart at the left is to track my time with the Lord. I am trying to reach a goal of a 10th of each day. I still fall very short! Charting it makes a difference. To acheive my goal I need to spent 2 hours and 40 minutes each day in the Lord.

Found this cool interactive map! http://www.biblemap.org

Feb 1: Ex 7-9

Every time I read the account of the plagues I am amazed. There will always be Pharaohs in our life and ministry. God was patient. He only wanted the people to serve Him and to acknowledge Him as Jehovah.  I have seen time and time again where people plead with God in the midst of a situation only to return to the former sin.

Feb 2: Ex 10-12

But Jehovah hardened Pharaoh's heart, and he did not let the children of Israel go. Ex 10:20

For many years this confounded me. But I know the Lord accomplishes His purposes and His plans and that we may not have understanding of it all. We do not get to see the whole picture.
Feb 3: Ex 13-15

Feb 5: Ex 19-21

All the rules! I am so thankful that Christ came and died for my sins.
Feb 6: Ex 22-24
Feb 7: Ex 25-27

Five years ago our homeschool coop made a replica of the  tabernacle. It was about 1/6th size. It took us a whole quarter. We then presented it at churches.  It was awesome to study each article of the tabernacle and understand it’s meaning.

The Lord is an amazing master builder! To give each instruction is such detail  and for Moses to follow it just amazes me. Much like Noah and the ark.

Jun 6: Prov 10-12

Reading Proverbs  with John Weslys Commentary and Notes is very helpful. http://www.christnotes.org/commentary.php

This was interesting. http://www.letgodbetrue.com/proverbs/ I like the proverbs by topic index on this site.

Prating: to talk idly and at length.

Suretyship : the state of being sure as. Confidence in behavior
Jun 7: Prov 13-15

Penury: lack of money, property, or necessities; extreme poverty; destitution

Jun 8: Prov 16-18

“Commit thy works unto Jehovah, And thy purposes shall be established.” This is one of my favorite scriptures.

Hoary Head  A hoary head is gray or white hair, where age has replaced the hair color of youth with gray or white .Hoary is anything white or gray. And such hair color on old men is considered a beautiful thing.   http://www.letgodbetrue.com/proverbs/16_31.htm  http://bible.cc/proverbs/16-31.htm

  1. Thank you for the link to the interactive map. I love that kind of thing. I like to know where things are happening.

  2. Oh, wow! A replica of the Tabernacle. That would be something, for sure! I've seen scale model pictures but not the real thing except on some Modern Marvel show once on the History channel. (I think it was Modern Marvels). Hmmm...

Anyway, your questions rouse the same questions I always had....that God hardened Pharoah's heart. Didn't seem fair, did it? But then I realized it was only after P had hardened his heart countless times to start with!

I like your chart, too. hey, how did you get it to post next to the graphic? Usually, I can't get anything to post next to an image. Do you have a secret?

  3. I always enjoy reading your pOST ;D

We were thinking a while back, homeschooling is titing your time as well, as it is all in God's service. Too often people think only of money tithes. That is easy to give, it is your time that isn't!

Let me hear of your unfailing love each morning, for I am trusting you. Show me where to walk, for I give myself to you. Psalms 143:8
