I seem to be in a holding pattern with loosing weight. But thats okay! As long as I do not gain any I am fine with that. I had to put exercise on hold this week as I fell and bruised my hip and backside pretty badly. I had gotton into a habit of stretching and was beginning to see the benifits. Slow and steady is my motto! I plan to return to the YMCA this month and get into the water. This is my next step in being more active.
This week I purged my closet. A friend told me that it is important not to hang on to my "too big" clothes. So I purged! I do have a photo but did not get it downloaded. 3 large trash bags of size 18, 16,14, and 12! I reached my goal of size 10! Its not a perfect fit yet but good enough to say I wear a size 10 again. I have not seen a size 10 since 1986.
I was so blessed this week to catch a sale at KMart. I usually do not shop KMart but went there to get underwear...( they always have low prices on them) and noticed a huge sale on pants, shoes, and tops. I got paid to dog sit this week so I actually have cash! I found pants for $4.20each! Tops as low as $1.75. Shoes for $5! I was able to replace the pants I had to purge! The rest of my needed clothes items I have found at our church clothing closet. Its a bit scary to not have my comfy clothes.
I found this blog the other day and I really love it! Check it out. http://www.homeschoolfitnesscoach.com/blog/

WAY TO GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The scale is not going anywhere on me either. But I forgot to post I have on pants today I could not wear last fall. Not only can I wear them....I do not have to unbutton them to get them down. So they are technically too big.
ReplyDeleteSize 10, AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!! I personally don't remember that size......I probably was that in highschool. Great deal on the clothes. I never shop at Kmart either, but my mom bought me some clothes there this Christmas. (She got a real good deal too)
I have my post up and signed you in to Mr Linky.
Be blessed,
Chasity
You are inspiring me !!! When you said size 10 my eyes got big. I would LOVE to be a size 10 again. I just need to deside to do it. I have lost 5 lbs with a few small changes I have made but I am making more. I can't wait till I get to say that I am a size 10 again. [0=

Hey, Kmart really knows how to have a sale don't they? I like to get my canvas sneakers there, only place in town I can find the ones you don't need socks with. My other favorite sale place is JC Penny's, I spent $14 one day and looked at the receipt at the bottom and it said, you saved $183. I picked up a couple of skorts (5) and a couple of shirts, that is $200 worth of clothes for $14, man I love a good sale.
