Weightloss Wednesday

Photobucket

Its been a great week! Although I really cannot take credit for the pounds lost this week. I was not that diligent in watching what I ate. Perhaps the habit of portion control is finally working.

I think I will make my orginal goal by May! Perhaps even my secondary goal but that would be too much too fast I think.

Here is an interesting article on the GI. I am not diabetic but it runs in the family. I have found that using the index helps with weight loss.

Hope you are all encouraged to stay the journey! Keep the goals for each week small so you can suceed week to week. Do not look at the whole picture! Find joy in the small steps.

  2. Way to go!!!!!!!Great job. We have finished our project...thanks again for your butterfly resources. I will be at our cover school all day today and zoo tomorrow. I hope to get back on track~~~I am eating okay, but no time for exercise so far. My schedule will settle down next week for a little while I hope!! I am so glad you are sticking in with me, it is such a blessing knowing we are in this together.

    Be blessed,

  3. Hi, Tina! Thanks so much for welcoming me to the WLW group :-) I'm glad to join you all!

Thanks for posting the article on Glycemic Index. My son, now 15-1/2 yrs old, was diagnosed with juvenile diabetes (type 1...instantly and forever insulin-dependent) just 2 weeks after his 4th birthday. :-( Our lives are lived with constant carb-counting, and we know the effects of G.I. all too well!

Anyway, thanks again for visiting my blog and welcoming me to the gang...I'll look forward to visiting more! Meanwhile, I've enjoyed reading here!

    God Bless,

    Lori

Let me hear of your unfailing love each morning, for I am trusting you. Show me where to walk, for I give myself to you. Psalms 143:8
