Through the Bible in a Year

The past two weeks have been long ones. Different life stresses....and just stuff. Some good stuff some not so good. I learned I did not run to the Lord as I usually do...I found other stuff to do. I kept busy when I should have been still. I had fear when I should of had peace. I struggled alone...in the midst of all that was going on.

Well tonight was Good Friday service at church. I left all the junk worry and fear at the cross.

I plan to slowly catch up on my reading. I so enjoy the daily reading and have missed digging into the word.

I hope you are all staying the course no matter what life throws at you.

  1. I hear you on this issue. I pray many blessings on your week end and may you bask at His feet all the more this week end.

Sending you blessings and ((HUGS)) my SSiC

    In Him<><

  2. I'm so glad you are coming along. I'm sure you'll "catch up" soon, and if not, it's all right, too. The point is to "finish the course" but there's really no time limit, right? The best part is in knowing your desire is to walk closer to the Lord every day!

Well, I have kept up, only by the grace of God. It's hard over here at our homestead, as DH listens to NPR first thing in the morning and in an A-frame one-room deal, it's kind of hard to focus. But thankfully I read Goliath and David today and NOT Leviticus! LOL

  3. I am catching up when I can. There are always days when I catch up, so I try to do what I can. It is always a blessing.

Let me hear of your unfailing love each morning, for I am trusting you. Show me where to walk, for I give myself to you. Psalms 143:8
