Weekly Wrap Up

From the Heart:

So much activity this week. Struggled a bit to keep it all in balance. Feel the tug to escape for some quiet time with the Lord.

On the Homefront:

Dear Husband is studying for finals, oldest son is busy with wedding plans and finals. I am looking to find time in the garden, some zone cleaning, and time to work on projects no yet finished this winter.

In the School Room:

My senior is working hard to finish early. He works full time and will be attending school in Arizona in the fall. He is more than ready to be done with high school. The gals are nearly done with school for the year. I am focusing on hands on fieldtrips throughout the spring. We visited the art museum again this week and had a blast ( see last two s and t post).

On the Mission Field:

We continue to go out each week to work with the homeless and working poor. Today we had to take a guy to the hospital.  ( stab wound ). We have seen a 50 percent increase in the church food pantry participation.

I pray daily for insite and wisdom when working with these folks. Sometimes it feels at though you are not doing enough or the right thing to help them.

On the Literary Scene:

I am reading  The Lords Table.

Studying the biology text for next years class for my daughter.

Blessings!!!!!!!!!!!

I loved reading your wrapup. Wow you have one about to graduate from high school and get married? How wonderful! I feel as though I got to know you a lot more reading this, and I'm hoping you'll keep doing wrapups every week! Feel free to change the section titles if anything doesn't fit your family or if you have something else you'd like to add...

Blessings to you and your family!

  2. I found you via Carol's (ThreeLittleLadies) Mr. Linky listings, and thought I'd stop by. I appreciated your sharing your trials. I, too, have struggled this week with balance and trying to hold it all together. Do you think it's the end of the year that does this to us? By the way, congratulations on your son's upcoming nuptials.
