Our Studies this Year: Show and Tell Friday

I have been working really hard to finish lesson plans and get our year mapped out. Our first week of school will offically start September 8th. We do a slow start the first week. The gals will organize their notebooks, do some art, maybe some reading and science. We also plan to do a fieldtrip the first week.

The gals do use a lot of the same books. I adjust as needed for the younger child.

  1. Doesn't it feel good just to have it written down. It looks good. I know you and the girls are going to have a great year.

  3. Hmmm...I was looking more closely at this today, and my eyes zeroed in on the music theory online thing...I went to the site and looked, and I'm intrigued. How will you use this? Do they change the post each week or something? Or is it one small part of a larger study? I only spent a couple minutes looking at the site, so perhaps this is all answered there and I need to spend more time. But thanks for sharing it!

    God Bless,
