This is a "throw" sized blanket made of fleece and cotton. The blocks are works of art created by sharpie tie dye. This is called the rag quilt pattern. You can go here to get instructions: http://www.freequiltideas.com/free_quilt_patterns/Rag_Quilt_Pattern.htm
Rag quilts are great for beginners, easy, and fun to make. This is a durable quilt that will last. I made one out of denim a few years ago.
This is beautiful! I love the pattern on this. Hope you are having a great week. : )
ReplyDeleteIt's really cool. I don't know how you do all that you do. We seem to do school all day most days! When I'm not schooling, I am cooking, cleaning, doing laundry, or trying to fit some positive time with the little one. I just don't know how you find time to do projects like this?

I'd love to know what is and how to "sharpie tie-dye". I've never heard of it, but I'm in the quilting mode and loved this idea.
