Beautiful Things

It is the simple things of life that make it beautiful.
The Chair: We found it on the side of the road in perfect condition...wondered why anyone would throw away a 400.00 dollar chair ( its from Pier One ) It makes our reading nook cozy.
Double Lilies: Love these. They were from a friend years ago and always bring her to rememberance each year.
Shade Garden: Homemade bird bath and Grandpas rocks make this a special place for the birds and squirrels. Its a fledgling garden but will be amazing next spring.
The Bike: Whimsy should be in all our lives! The Morning Glory is taking hold and should be blooming soon.
Last of the Wild Flowers: This is the rement of our butterfly garden from years back. I adore Queen Annes Lace.
Beautiful Home: We were privildged to watch a robin build this nest. She was amazing.
Prayer Plant: A reminder to lift all things heavenward each day.
Rose Garden: Patience is a virtue! This long awaited garden is finally a reality.
Access! We now have a door to the underside of a very tight space. Its adorable.

  1. Such a fun post! I LOVE the bike in the garden...things like that are a favorite of mine, too. I love how you said everyone should have a "touch of whimsy"...the garden picture w/the bunny planter on the little bench that I have up is in what I call my "Whimsical Garden!" Kind of a Beatrix Potter-thing...

Love your new look here, too...so pretty! You may have done it a while ago, I've been so busy I haven't been blog-hopping much lately.

    Happy 4th of July, Tina!

  5. Neat chair! So is this an example of God taking from the rich and giving to the poor? LOL!

Let me hear of your unfailing love each morning, for I am trusting you. Show me where to walk, for I give myself to you. Psalms 143:8
