This Week At Our House: Week 8 of School

Wow the first quarter of school will be over in 5 days! Time has gone by so very fast.
We have been doing quite a bit of school on Sat and Sun and late nights due to busy schedules. It seems to be working but I miss the predictable schedule.
I got all the lessons for Quarter 2 ready to go. This takes some time but is so worth it as it keeps us on track and moving forward.

We are in the process of changing churches. This is hard stuff! The whole month has been consumed with leaving. We had our last day in the food pantry Thursday. Really hard! I will be posting on this later when the time is right.

Cold weather has me wearing comfy sweaters and crocheting again. Oh to have a blanket in progress on my lap...is there anything better?! I hope to finish the current blanket for a Christmas gift.

  1. Wonderful! I know it is hard to change churches. We did that a few years ago.

  2. I'm sorry this has been a hard time for you. I hope the Lord opens new doors for you and your talents. School is going fast here too.

  3. Sounds like things are going well. Church changing is never easy, but I'm sure the Lord will continue to guide you. I've been crocheting more too, always fun to do in the fall and winter months. :)

  4. Tina, I know how hard that change is. We just did the same thing, sort of...our church got too big for our building, so we planted a new church...we're part of the "plant," and I don't know how I'm doing with it. Right now, I'm incredibly sad, lonely, and the boys aren't too happy, either...we've left a lot of great people and long-had relationships. *Sigh. Anyway, we can commiserate! Keep us posted on how you're doing, dearest.

Let me hear of your unfailing love each morning, for I am trusting you. Show me where to walk, for I give myself to you. Psalms 143:8
