Welcome 2012!

I do not like to make resolutions...I fail everytime. But I am setting goals. And one step at a time plan to accomplish them.
Here is my one resolution/goal: JOY. In our house that means Jesus, Others, You. But it also means that I resolve to have joy in my heart, my home. Profound happiness, laughter, and joy. I pray that this year my JOY mirrors the joy of Jesus.
Now for an ongoing goal/battle/ need a lifestyle change!
The season always starts with Thanksgiving and slides right on through midnight on New Years with FOOD: (  See all the food piled high on the plates? And of course there were seconds...and dessert...and snacks. And the eating at all hours.....need I say more? This lead to a need to lose 20lbs. Not proud of it...and I know its gonna be hard to get rid of!!!
By the way the two lovely kids in the photo are my son and daughter in love and baby to be. Yep you read it correctly. They are expecting their first baby in late July. We are going to be grandparents!

I am not good a resolutions either...I have goals as well for this year. I need to become more purposeful in my life and I am setting goals for that. (And weight is on my list as well.)
I am not sure you need one, but over at Money saving Mom she has several printables for goal setting. http://moneysavingmom.com/2011/12/goal-planning-customizable-worksheets.html
Also she has one I printed out for my book reading this year: http://moneysavingmom.com/2011/12/customizable-printable-reading-list.html
    Happy New Year!!!
