A couple of summers ago my youngest daughter and I started collecting glass that we found when we went on walks. It comes in a variety of shapes, sizes, textures, and colors. Some day she plans to make "something" with our found treasure. I have thought about making some jewelry, wind chimes, a picture frame, and even a stained glass window. I collect odd bits of old costume jewelry and hope to use the glass with it. Meanwhile it gets stored in glass jars and displayed.

Let me hear of your unfailing love each morning, for I am trusting you. Show me where to walk, for I give myself to you. Psalms 143:8
Oh, I love this. They are so beautiful. We have jars of shells all around the house from the kids trips to the beach, but not a lot of beach glass.
ReplyDeleteNeat! We recently collected some glass from an entire parking lot made of recycled glass. It is pretty in the jar!
ReplyDeleteThat's a pretty way to display what you have found.
ReplyDeleteReminds me a Five in a Row book we read and they mention sea glass.
