Click 365: The Ohio Star

I am determined to make this quilt for two very special people in my life. I struggle with straight lines, meeting points, perfection. This is a huge challenge for me. After staring at the project each and every time I went upstairs ( my sewing area is the upstairs hallway) I finally started again. It began with a clean up of the area.

I am still not sure I like the desk organizer on the top of the workspace. It is a bit crowded. We will see how it goes. It was a free item and I have no problems passing it along to someone else.

This table is my workhorse. I am so thankful for a new iron that had the correct temp. and steam. The old one literally burned up. Caught fire!

I cut each piece out by hand. Do not own a rotary cutter. Takes longer I guess but its the way I am comfortable doing it. Here is the design of the Ohio Star before sewing. This fabric makes it French Country style. I think it will be pretty.
