A Day at the Zoo, Found Treasures and Blessings

This week ended with a trip to our favorite thrift store to pick up a box of loaner items for Emily s Graduation party. We will be decorating in Rustic style. While there we also gathered a few more items. It was 5 bucks a box day! I stuffed the box!
We will be loading this candle stand with mason jars filled with glow stick stuff.
Lots of linens. I have already tea dyed them.
This bird motif is on a few items so is has become a theme of sorts.

Then we were off to the zoo! It has been four years since our last visit. We were blessed with free tickets and a free meal!

We have been going to this zoo since before any of our children were born. It was a great place to do school with the kids. Many days were spent here. I did not take many photos of the animals....just my girls and flowers.
 Sisters.
 Love this idea!!!!!!
Magnolia are a favorite. The flowers on my tree are so high I never get a good picture.
The food was typical southern fair! Oh so good. I skipped the bread and just had the meat and coleslaw.
 Always wanted to make one....

 Path to a favorite friend.....

Always has to be climbed...( it is not allowed)  Yes that is a very old Magnoila.

The roses are from 1800s plants. Very old. The rose garden is always a favorite.

No idea what this is but I like it.
