Each week we go to our neighborhood park and look for something to study.Last week it was mollusk, baracles, and parasites in the water. This week it was birds and an inchworm.

Can you guess what is inside? I was hesitant to look as we have copperheads and water moccins.
Isn't she beautiful?! She has a very high nest in a very hollow tree. It is hollow almost all the way up but seemingly healthy on the outside.
I love to go the pond for nature studies. They are lots of fun.
