I did not have a chance to work on my quilt or the photos all week 
But thats okay! Because I did get alot of stuff done and felt it was a very productive week. I have been working on zones in the house to do Fall cleaning. This past week it was the upstairs and mostly our bedroom. It has to be the most neglected room in the house. I just do not spend much time in there! Just putting stuff away and dusting was a major improvement!
Another project that I really want to get to is getting all of my loose recipes and family favorites into a homemade book. So as inspiration I have the stack sitting and taking up space on my computer desk.
I hope you are all finding goals ( no matter how small ) to work on. Being the multitasking moms that we are I know it is easy to have several things going on at once. So just finding one that we can complete completely is a joy!
Hey, jobs were getting done. That's what's important!! Some of those jobs are more important at the time!!!
ReplyDeleteA friend of mine had a great idea for a recipe book that I started and just love!!! I took an old photoalbum
and put page protectors in it. When I find a recipe I love, I'll either write it or print it out and stick it into a sleeve. I then took some different colored cardstock and did the different 'sections'. Now I just need to write what the different sections are onto the cardstock. (That little suggestion came from my 13 yr old who uses the 'cookbook' regularly! : } )
Maybe that'll work!!

You have hit the nail right on the head !!! We get projects that take a LONG time and can do only a bit by bit and THEN there are all the small projects. ( that are really equall importance as the BIG ones. ) And being a mom that = multi tasker ! lol Our BIG projects will get done in time and I just loved how you shared what was going on with the big one and all the littler ones too ! Wahoo !! you are doing GREAT ! ((hugs)
