I found this devotion web site for moms that I really like. It is a busy busy season for all of this so the title caught my eye. Check it out! http://www.5minutesforfaith.com/
"Here at 5 Minutes for Faith, we strive to be a little different. Every day we all face struggles, disappointments and difficulties. We sometimes feel as if we are on our journey alone … that is where we want to make a difference in your day. We want to share God's love and grace with you on the days when you need it the most."
Isn't it nice to try to make the season "simple"? I am pretty much ready for Christmas. I have just a few presents to wrap. I still need to plan our Christmas dinner, but since I have to work afternoons that day, I don't want to do something that will take a lot of time and effort. I want to be able to relax and enjoy my family for the hours that I can actually be home.
ReplyDeleteOn the 27th, they aren't having our Sunday school class, which is what dd and I enjoy the most. We are planning to just do a family day that day -- stay home and relax. (I'm taking 3 days of vacation right after Christmas.)
Our Sunday school teacher pointed out that w/the economic situation, we may find that we actually get back to the true meaning of Christmas.
