Quiet Moments Meme

quietmoments

Welcome to Quiet Moments Meme. Lets bless one another by sharing and encouraging one another in our walk with the Lord. Simply share something from your bible reading, bible study, answered prayer, pray needs, inspriational song ect. Keep it up lifting and encouraging! I will be posting this each Monday. Feel free to join at any time during the week. Link up with Mr Linky at the bottom of the post. If you would like a button please let me know.

Perhaps a great way to start would be to share some goals for the  first month of 2010.

I want to increase my time in the word. Last year I used bible shared http://www.bibleshared.com/ to track my bible reading. I loved using this tool! I plan to start by getting up 15 minutes earlier.

I want to spend more time in prayer. Since I always put this off till late in the day...I have made my bedroom more organized for prayer time. I plan to make a door knob hanger for my door that says PRAYING. My kids are older if they do not know I need to be left alone of course they will knock on the door ect.

Finish the Beth Moore Study A Womans Heart. I am so behind.

  1. Just wanted to thank you for dropping by and posting a comment for me at 2moremade4 (My Joy). My son is doing much better than what he was when I posted that. We were also worried about food allergies and about sugar/diabetes. It seems to have been just caused from something going through his system causing the diarhea and thus the yeast outbreaks. The dr office called it toddler diahrea and salmanella was also suggested because no one else in the family was sick. Anyway, sorry I'm just getting around to this. I am really enjoying your site. Way to go on the weight loss. I must really try this year to get healthier for myself and my family. I also want to spend more time with the Lord, in His word and prayer.

    Have a great day,

    Kim

  2. I LOVE this meme. It really looks like something that I "can" participate in. Because I always seem to be feeling behind in everything. I am thankful that you made it very open. I can share where God has led me and I won't feel horrible if I am not doing a certian amount each week. I need a bit of grace for a bit. I am in so much need of getting my life back on track and in a good habit groove. I am almost done with the seed business and I will be able to give more where it is needed. Please pray that certain family members will honor this and I will get my life more on track. I guess this week it is a prayer request. [0=

  3. I am so thankful that I'm finally starting to get well enough to have new year's resolutions! I picked five very little ones, but will, of course, add them to things we already do, such as regular Bible and prayer times.

I'm trying to organize my blogging, and I may be able to participate in this meme. It's a great idea!

    Blessings!

  4. A Woman's Heart is such a good study! I got so "into" it that when I came to the part where Moses died, I bawled like a baby. I think it was more so because I knew the study was coming to an end, and I had learned SO much from it. It was filled with new revelations for me.

For something encouraging, I have to say that I have been in quite an emotional valley lately. Very depressing, feeling frustrated and hopeless. I am walking THROUGH that valley. I do not plan to STAY there. I'm coming out of it over the last couple of days. I notice that my attitude is much better, I'm spending more time throughout the day talking to the Lord (not just giving my requests to Him, but sharing my thoughts and just talking with Him). It feels good to feel the real me coming through again.
