Spring Break , Family Time and More

This week our kids will be home from College along with a few of their friends. I am looking forward to a full house, the noise, the laughter, family time.

Our homeschool spring break starts next week. ( in line with the girls enrichment classes). So it will a light week of school this week and NO school starting the 18th! Looking forward to that. Moms need a break too.

Last weekend I went to my favorite thrift store with a friend. I am friends with the owner and she ask me to wait a few so we could catch up. So we wandered over to this table and sat and chatted. ( Its just that kind of place, good christian music playing, coffee on, awesome friendly employees, and time to chat. So much better than Wal Mart!)

This is a lovely old Fold o Matic from 1962. As we sat and chatted. I sort fell in love with the table and chairs! Hubby and I were just talking about borrowing a folding table for the week from church so the kids could leave their games up...this seemed to fit the bill! After examining it and finding that all was in super working order and all the chairs and table folded I was sold. While making a call to hubby to okay the price...a store employee came by and marked the price down! So with that and a coupon I had I paid fifteen dollars for this lovely table. ( Thank you Melanie!) This is her photo. I have not had time this week to upload photos. I also purchased 2 lovely pieces of fabric for my yo yos. Got nearly 70 yo yos for 20 cents!

Plans have been made for me to visit my sister again this summer in Minnesota! So excited about this!

So if you do not see me for a while know that I am busy making family memories and enjoying my family.

  4. I hope that you have been enjoying your spring break! I'm ready for one, but we need to keep plugging away to finish early this year.

What a lovely table find, too! I love those kinds of sweet deals.

Thank you for the prayers and encouragement. I have at least one more busy week and then hope to find some normal routine again.
