A Walk in the Woods

Todays walk took us on a 1.5 mile stroll though a patch of woods smack dap in the middle of the city. Its a surreal place. Makes you think of make believe worlds you read about in books.

And we did happen upon a copperhead. Thankfully it was in the water...not on the trail. Look at the left side of the photo. ( under the green leaves )
