Weightloss Wednesday

This has not been a fabulous week of following goals, eating less, exercising more. As a matter of fact I now need to loose 13 lbs which means I gained a pound.


On the good side I monitered my steps. I learned that I do not come even close to my daily goal! My daily steps are from a little over 500 ( New Years Day) to a tad over 5000.


I also cut my afternoon coffee. I am enjoying Chai tee, green tea, or mint tea instead.


This week I plan to cut all sugar and get out there and walk!


I hope each of you is finding a way in your journey to a better you.

  1. I Love mint tea. I'm not a coffee drinker.

    But I know it must be hard to cut out coffee.

    My hubby hasn't cut coffee out but he does drink decaf now.

  2. I'm not even going to use a scale at this point. I find that it's too discouraging for me if I don't see what I'm longing for! I'll just be going by how my clothing is beginning to fit me again! Eventually, I'll do a check, but probably not until I meet my size 14's again (I'm in an 18 now, and own VERY few size 18 clothes...I just can't bring myself to buy them). I have a lot of beautiful skirts at size 14, and pants, too...so those are my goals, rather than a particular weight.


    You stick with it, since we don't count Christmas and New Year's as healthy eating and losing weight months! God Bless your efforts, and we'll all do it together now!

  3. I think you are doing great. Small steps and goals are key. Those lbs don't add up over night (although it seems like it) and they def. do not leave overnight. We are going to be sucessful. Just compare this year to last year, you are smaller and healthier and look at all we've learned together.
